Ground Source Heat Pump

If you are using Oil, LPG or other non-mains gas fuel sources to heat your home and are a homeowner you may benefit from a government grant under the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) for a ground source heat pump, which can reduce your heating bill by up to 80%.

Ground source heat pumps extract heat from the ground from pipes buried underground.  They concentrate heat by using a vapour compression cycle and then they transfer heat into the building. This is to provide heating and hot water without burning fossil fuels.
